Hey y'all!

First of all thank you for stopping by my fashion blog. I have said for awhile that I was going to create a fashion blog and just never did...until now.

Here are some fun facts about your fashion blogger, Rustie J, aka RJ.

• I obtained my undergrad degree in Retail Merchandising and Management with a concentration in Buying and Product Management with a Minor in Business, a mouthful I know, from The University of Wisconsin - Stout.
• I am almost done with grad school where I am getting my Masters in Merchandising with a minor in Marketing from The University of North Texas.
• My past  work retail experience includes management rolls at Claire's, Express & jcpenney.
• I currently work at the jcpenney home office as an Assistant Buyer in Men's Dress Shirts and Neckwear. Before my current roll I was an Allocator in Men's Big and Tall & Men's Traditional Collections. I got my start in the home office in the merchandising trainee program and I trained in Men's Casual Bottoms.
• While in college I had some amazing experiences that many don't get to have which included; New York City Fashion Trip, Attending MAGIC (twice), Working with Baby Phat at MAGIC, Working backstage at Miami Fashion Week, and Attending The Global Retail Conference.
• I love everything about fashion and understand that fashion is something different to each person and frankly most people are afraid of fashion.
• I have two fabulous kitty's named Dolce and Gabbana and they love shoes just as much as their mom does!
• I love shopping, even if it's just window shopping, and all aspects of it from the interaction with other customers, to seeing what people are buying and what they are not buying, to gaining inspiration and people watching.
• I am a pageant girl and I am your current Miss Greater Dallas International. I mean what is better then having a good reason to be wearing a crown in public.
• And we will end with a list of my favorite things:
• Color: Pink
• Print: Cheetah
• Heel: The higher the better
• Saying: Fabulous!
• Vacation: Anywhere tropical
• Book: Anything Tim Gunn or Nina Garcia
• Movie: Confessions of a Shopaholic and The Devil Wears Prada
• TV Show: Project Runway and CSI Miami
• Car: Lamborghini but I love my Bumblebee (Camaro)
• Food: Depends on the day.
