Bond, James Bond - How Women Can Do It Too!

I am loving the James Bond trend and I defiantly loving how it translates to women's wear! Men's wear it always a defiant "YES!" because it looks so sleek, put together, and sexy. I'll take it "shaken, not stirred!"

What To Wear To Thanksgiving Dinner

Let the start of the holiday season begin! "It's the most wonderful time of the year..."

People often wonder "What should I wear to Thanksgiving Dinner?" You should wear something you feel comfortable in! This does not mean you should wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt - you should only wear that at home when you are just lounging around - not on a holiday!

Select an outfit that allows you to eat, drink and be merry in and of course look and be fabulous!

Right now is not the time to stress because you might be doing that the next day, Black Friday that is (even though Black Friday is suppose to be fun).

Below are some easy but fabulous outfit options:
  • Trousers + Silk Top + Flats
  • Dark Denim + Tee + Blazer + Low Heels
  • Casual Dress + Boots
  • Black Jeans + Oversized Sweater + Boots
  • A-Line Skirt + Cardigan + Flats or Heels
"May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!"

What to Wear While Shopping on Black Friday

Black Friday is almost here and that means it is time for all of us to get our shopping on!!!

The question is "What should I wear so I am still stylish but comfortable?"

Below are my DO's and DON'T's of dressing on Black Friday:

DO:
  • Be comfortable. This is one of the days of the year that being uncomfortable could ruin the whole experience.
  • Wear layers. Depending on where you are in the country - up north to down south - the weather will change over the night and day and you don't want to be freezing or sweating. This way you can shed them though out the shopping event.
  • Wear clothes you are easily slip on and off. This will be very important if you are going to be trying on clothes. You don't want to be person that takes forever in the dressing room.
  • Leave the coat in the car. If you are wearing a coat try to leave it in the car, unless you are standing in line for a long time then you will want it, because this will only get in your way while shopping.
  • Wear a cross body handbag. This will allow your hands to be free and you don't have to worry about it as much as a normal handbag.
  • Wear flats. You will thank me because you will be on your feet for a long time!

DON'T:
  • Wear heels. This will be the one and probably only time you will hear me say this but looking fabulous with your heels on it not needed...it is about comfort and quickness.
  • Wear bulky clothes. They will only get in your way and you will probably look frumpy instead of fabulous.
  • Carry a large purse. Only bring what you need (cash, debit card, credit card, coupons) and leave everything else at home or if you want in the car (locked up).
  • Wear your pajamas or sweats. I don't care that Black Friday happens overnight and you might be tried - put real clothes on. There is no excuse for sloppy.

Have a FABULOUS Black Friday!!
